Recycle Up Ghana Project Very Promising!

1W

Thirty students drawn from 10 senior high schools in Ghana are gathering in Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology, Ghana to learn and take action on Ghana’s waste challenges. These students were exposed to Ghana’s major Environmental challenges and were inspired to take action and come up with innovative ideas that solve the challenge of waste.

I spoke as a guest speaker at the event and my job was simple, to inspire and share opportunities with these high school students. It was a fulfilling duty because I started my job as a social entrepreneur just after completing high school. I did my best to do an hour presentation.  Once you can create a space for Ghanaians to think and share ideas, there is nothing they cannot achieve.

My four years Experience in social entrepreneurship in Ghana has left me with some rich experiences. Creating space is very important. I really commend Recycle up Ghana for putting together this summer camp. I have no doubt that it’s going to serve the purpose for which it has been established.
